Video Stroke Analysis

Video analysis is the best way to understand how to improve your swimming technique; ultimately leading to improved efficiency and pace holding ability.

Swimmers who are serious about their swimming improvement must invest in a video stroke analysis session. It allows the swimmer to view their stroke from 3 view points, including above and below water video’s.

Understand:
1. What is limiting your performance
2. Why you tire easily when swimming
3. The efficiency of your stroke relative to your wingspan
4. Areas of your stroke that present the greatest opportunities for improvement
5. The concepts of balance, core stability, stream lining, propulsion, arm recovery, catch, breathing and kick

Freestyle technique is a combination of many different elements. The balanced body, streamlining, optimal rotation, recovery to entry and breathing make for an overwhelming combination. The Total Immersion Ultra Efficient Freestyle  program coaches awareness and greater ‘feel’ for the water, linking all parts to a whole body coordinated freestyle movement.

First Strokes Beginner Swim Program Dates:

Tuesday’s, 6.30 – 7.10 pm, NCIE Redfern

6 x 40 min sessions

This is a swimming program for the beginner swimmer, who needs to build a more confident relationship with the water, improve their basic swimming skills and movement pattern awareness.

The program will help you relax and enjoy being in the water. You will work through a set of progressive drills that move towards constructing an easy basic freestyle stroke and be able to confidently swim your first 10m – 25m! You’ll then be ready for Total Immersion Level 1.0 Effortless Endurance program.
